Vintage Salanti Accordian 170 Made In Italy With Case & Straps, Beautiful.

Our description for this listing is in 2 parts. The written description and the photos. To not pay attention to both denies you the clearest picture of what it is that you are buying.
Up for Grabs is this Vintage Salanti 170 Accordian and Case. Beautiful Pearlescent Red finish. It looks to be in really nice vintage condition. I don’t see and cracks in the units body. All the keys seem to rebound nicely. I tested the bellows and they seem tight and functioning just fine. While testing the bellows, I tried each key for sound and all seem just fine. I’m not an Accordian guy so ask questions and I’ll attempt to answer them. Don’t ask questions of scale of the item...I’ll tell you now that I don’t know. It comes with straps. Straps are frayed near where they attach to the unit.....see last photo. It comes with a case, but one of the case hinge pins looks to have rusted off. It stays shut, but this is a heavy duty unit and if it were mine, I’d either replace the hinge or use a belt or strap on the outside of the case to make sure the case didn’t accidentally pop open. I don’t know what year this is, but there was some old sheet music in the case(not included)that was dated mid and late 1950’s so I’m inclined to think it could be of that vintage. Study the photos carefully, they can answer questions for you. there is a model and serial number in one photo and maybe there is a way to date this Salanti with that info.
