"DUCTER"
A Vintage Micro-Ohmmeter
Manufactured by the James G. Biddle Company in Philadelphia, PA
(Serial Number 1323880).
Note: This Device Has NOT Been Tested!
This instrument is housed in a nicely made
walnut(?) box. The factory seals on the box appear undisturbed, so it is unlikely that the box has ever been opened, and the circuit presumably has not been tampered with. The meter appears to be functional and the switches operate mechanically. The steel strap handle does release to provide access to the meter. Unfortunately, the leather covering for the steel strap handle has long ago deteriorated and is missing. There are numerous age related blemishes, abrasions, and scratches on the wooden cabinet.
Operating instructions are attached to the inner face of the meter cover. Probes are NOT included.
