    Description

NY Pancordion Baton from approx. 1947.  LMMH, 19" keyboard.
Master Palm switch .  Bass reed indicator on top shows bass reeds being used. All Paddles work fine. No rust on reeds.
New leathers in most treble areas throughout, same with new wax in areas.(see pics).
The 2 middle reeds have a slight offset producing a nice violin sound. (M0, M+). 15 different treble sounds by varying paddle combinations ! ( 2 to the nth power -1) if my math is correct.
The front has been improved and modified by adding a sound chamber to allow forward projection of the sound, replacing the old right angle louvres. This is the 3rd PAN I've seen this done to.....
must have been a thing to do in its' time.....See Joey Miskulin tutorial on youtube.  He is playing one of these that has been modified, very similar in age to this one.(Hi Joey, in case you're watching).
Bellow corners have been replaced at some time, and the new corners are a little thicker than the old corners so there is a slight taper to the bellows when in the closed position. Bellows are tight, no leaks, no smells. Well padded Baldoni shoulder straps.
There are a couple of small screw holes from when new closure straps were installed.  There are some divets and dings on a couple of the paddles. (See pics).
Two boo boos.....one approx. 1" long black filled crack on bottom of treble, see last pic (horizontal line across from the chrome bellows corners)  One wear off of black finish, again on bottom of accordion.  All caused by floor contact.  Hence the added felt pads.
    (See last 2 pics).
