This refurbished Hewlett-Packard 437B Power Meter and HP 8482H sensor are in exceptionally good condition electronically and physically. They meet or exceed
factory specifications. The 437B has been refurbished and
calibrated using the procedure as prescribed in the HP/Agilent service manual. The equipment used for
calibration is an 11683A Range Calibrator and other instrumentation as specified in the 437B's calibration procedure. All instrumentation used to calibrate the 437B is
currently within calibration and is NIST traceable.
You will receive equipment that is in comparable condition to the instruments shown in the photos.
The metal snap-in stands, sometimes called "bails," will be included if we have them in inventory.
The storage case will hold the 8482H Sensor, 5-foot sensor cable, and small accessories such as coaxial adapters, attenuators, etc.
The 11683A Range Calibrator is for demonstration purposes only and is not part of this sale.

The
Hewlett-Packard 437B
power meter is a low-cost, high-performance, single-channel, programmable, average power meter compatible with the 848x family of power sensors. Depending on the power sensor used, the 437B can measure from -70 dBm (100pW) to +44 dBm (25W) at frequencies from 100 kHz to 110 GHz.
Designed for ATE systems and demanding benchtop measurements, the 437B power meter makes fast, accurate, and reliable average power measurements. Only three inches high and half rack wide, the 437B minimizes the use of critical rack space in ATE systems. The advanced plastics technology used in the 437B cabinet combines the light weight of plastic with the shielding effectiveness of metal, making the 437B the only power meter to meet MIL-STD-461C EMI specifications.

The HP
8482H Power Sensor
is designed for use with the EPM series, EPM-P series, 70100A, E1416A, and the discontinued 43x power meters and provides extraordinary accuracy and stability. The 8482H Power Sensor gives you extremely low SWR and is traceable to the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). A calibration port is included with the above power meters for calibration with the power sensor. This calibration provides traceability to NIST and eliminates the uncertainties due to temperature changes and the variance in measurements with different meter/sensor combinations.
