Is my door suitable for installation?
HU series could be installed on wooden doors which have door thickness 35-50mm
Do I need to drill holes on my door?
There is no need. But you can drill a upper hole if you wish the lock to have added stability referring to the template.
What tools do I need for installation?

Can I keep my exist mechanical deadbolt and install an hugolog deadbolt or latchbolt?
No, most mechanical deadbolts are not compatible with hugolog deadbolt or latchbolt, it may cause your lock to malfunction!
Is the backset changeable on my deadbolt?
Yes, backset of HU series is changeable between 2-3/8”(60mm) and 2-3/4”(70mm).
The door lock works under what environment condition?
Based on test result, our product works in environment temperature -4~+129 degrees F(-20~+55 degrees C). In order to protect circuit, you are not recommended to install our product in high humidity environment.
Does my lock waterproof?
IP rating of front escutcheon is IP54, please do not expose back escutcheon outdoor where can be drenched by rain or water, water might cause your lock to short-circuit or malfunction.

How can I change open direction of my lock?
Reset your lock after your restall it. The lock can learn the orientation of your door itself.
What is Fake PIN?
In order to protect your PIN from leakage, you can enter any random digit before and after real master PIN or user PIN.
What is length of PIN code?
Length of PIN code is 4-10 digits
How to check status of my lock?
Locked/unlocked status could be checked by observing the thumb turn on back escutcheon. Vertical means unlocked, horizontal means locked

How to choose a battery?
AA alkaline battery, do not mix used and new batteries. You are not recommended to use rechargeable AA battery. lifetimes of battery are depend on working mode of Bluetooth, optional functions and use frequency. It might last for 6-12 months if unlock and re-lock 10 times per day.

Will the lock be unpaired with HU03if someone restored the lock to factory settings?
No, the unpair could be done only in master’s Hugolog APP. If you lost your cell or account
Will the lock be unpaired with my Z-wave hub if someone restored the lock to factory settings?
Yes, reset will delete all user credentials and Z-wave connection, need to pair with hub again.
